Elevating Perspectives Through Artistic Aerial Imagery
Hello, my name is Charles LeRette. I’m a professional photographer and FAA certified drone pilot. My services include ground-based commercial photography as well as aerial photography and drone videos for your business. I currently fly two drones for all of my aerial work. My workhorse is the DJI Air 3s with a 50 megapixel camera that shoots amazing photos and up to 4k resolution video. For drone mapping I fly a Phantom 4 Pro v2.0 because it has a mechanical shutter which is necessary for precise mapping. There was a time, not that long ago, when if you wanted high quality photographs or videos taken above ground level you'd need a really long ladder, a cherry picker, or even a helicopter. All of that has changed very recently thanks to drones. No longer just a toy or an extremely large, noisy and expensive machine powerful enough to carry a camera, today's drones are small, light, maneuverable, and have amazing cameras mounted on gimbals that can shoot high megapixel photos and videos in places that would be extremely dangerous or impossible for a person with a camera to photograph.
I am a certified drone pilot and can fly a drone as good as anyone but I'm primarily a professional photographer and that's what makes my photos and videos stand out from the rest. Anyone who flies a drone for commercial purposes in the US must register that drone with the FAA and also receive an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. I have taken and passed the required test and am a licensed FAA drone pilot. I am also fully insured.
